Youth Ministry

Millington Church of Christ has about 45-60 Middle school and High school Youth. We are always up to something so if you want to jump in just call J.M. at (901) 872-4426 to get further information about teen events. 

As a youth group, we are focusing on becoming servants of Christ and having true fellowship with one another.  Some things that we do to affirm that focus include (1) taking care of our building and cleaning up the adopted highway section that runs from the Raleigh-Millington Rd. fire station to just past 385, (2) helping out with the summer day care ran by Memphis Urban Ministry, (3) Participating in the Memphis Work Camp hosted by White Station Church of Christ, (4) getting to know the residents of Millington Health Care Center through B-I-N-G-O and visits, and so much more!

With regards to fellowship we (1) attend many major youth rallies year-round including rallies in Senatobia, MS, Dyersburg, TN, Rosemark, TN and even in Kentucky, (2) we have weekly gatherings for our guy teens and girl teens, (3) we participate in joint retreats and devotionals with other churches of Christ.  These are just a few things we do to get to know one another. 

Other major activities of the youth include (1) A Bible Bowl, (2) a Vacation Bible School, (3) Summer camp, and (4) so many other seasonal activities such as fishing rodeos, retreats, lock-ins, movie nights, video game tournaments and so much more.

As my wife (Lindsey) and I enter our 3^rd year of ministry here at Millington, we only grow closer to God and the church.  We have tremendous leaders who serve and care, a family atmosphere, and a deep devotion to God and one another.  We would love to have you visit and come and see the great things that are happening at the Millington church of Christ!
